My husband and I took our 5 year old son to The Super Dentists this month for a regular check up and cleaning. We were welcomed by a cheerful team at the front desk who checked us in promptly. Melo-D, the Superhero introduced herself to us and immediately took us to her spot, which was a table full of coloring activities. Kids get to color a superhero and cut it out then put it on display for all to see their creativity. My son enjoyed this activity even though he was so eager to go and play at the Cavitar’s Corner, their beautiful play area. Kids are encouraged to brush their teeth before seeing the dentist. This earns them more points that can be redeemed for a toy reward.
The Super Dentists, a pediatric dentistry-orthodontics, has a creative and fun superhero theme that we liked. Not only do they offer dental services to children but also have Parent Dentistry services. Parents and guardians are able to enjoy some specialty coffee or hot chocolate while Melo-D entertains the children for a few minutes. Parents get the ultimate VIP experience while they are there to receive their treatment. Children can have fun in the kids lounge while their parents receive their treatment.
Our son thoroughly enjoyed dressing up as a superhero and even got enough points from his visit to visit the toy store and pick out a toy. He got a soft dinosaur, which he enjoys playing with. Melo-D will go through a list of activities with the family and inform them about the number of points the children get to accumulate throughout their visit and beyond. These points can be converted to rewards at the end of the appointment or accumulated and redeemed for better toy rewards.
We found the staff to be wonderful and professional. I highly recommend The Super Dentists to our Moms and Dads at National University who may be shopping around for new dental locations for the year. Try it out when you get a chance. You are guaranteed to find a valid reason that will keep you going back for professional and fun dental services.
